OMFG. I am going APE SHIT crazy on the released Watchmen trailer...I've just watched it, er, a good fifteen times (and after this post, it'll be sixteen). It's funny how I actually believed I figured The Watchmen all out, yet found even MORE intricacies laid out by Moore from watching the trailer (though Moore had nothing to do with the movie, the following tidbit was kept true from the book, shown in the trailer). What did I discover? The subtle changes of Rorschach's mask (of which my friend discovered first) that I failed to investigate during my reading . Yeah, and now I've figured out a whole bunch of stuff, or at least, now I've got definite proof for some of the theories my friend and I have discussed. I'm dying to lay it all out on my blog...but...that would set me on a whole rampage through all the book's great quirks and themes, and I'm just not up for passionate discourse on an empty stomach.

Here are some old sketches, last year's. Some of 'em are rough in texture because they're from my canson book; my god, you've really got to fight that paper to shade (at least, the darn packet of paper I was so blessed in buying). I was too obstinate to do otherwise--but after some long and arduous hours with poor turnout--I eventually relented, and eh. Haven't really touched the book since. It's more or less only good for line work, so that's what I'm going to save it for.
